Volunteer Coordinator
We are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator who will develop and maintain a network of volunteers to serve at The Grotto.
Responsible for solicitation of individual volunteers, volunteer organizations and local community groups through direct mail and presentations. . Develop and implement training programs for each volunteer area. Schedule and coordinate activities of volunteer positions ensuring that each position is filled for each shift. Keep detailed and accurate records for all volunteer activities. Be available on a flexible basis to cover volunteer positions if volunteers are not available. Be available to manage the nightly on-site check-in of volunteers during the Christmas Festival of Lights as needed. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
