It is easy to feel overwhelmed and worn down and worn out by alcoholism and addiction in one that we love. This retreat is an opportunity to reflect on the wisdom of the 12 Steps and the support of those who have been there. All are welcome. $60; includes Saturday lunch. Saint Mark interprets Jesus in the light of the Hebrew Bible, showing Jesus to be not only a teacher of wisdom but Wisdom itself, calling his followers to an unconventional wisdom, a way of living and dying that Jesus exemplifies.

RETREATS

The Servite Friars welcome individual priests, men and women religious, and seminarians for private or directed days of recollection or extended retreats in The Grotto Monastery.


Private, self-contained rooms.

Meals (3) taken with the Servite Community (or in private).

$50 per day with overnight use (Directed retreats extra).

GROUP USAGE OF MONASTERY FACILITIES

The Monastery Chapter Room is available for small groups of priests, religious, or related groups on weekdays.


$100 per day (8 AM-4 PM) includes morning beverage.


The Monastery Chapel is available for religious purposes only at no extra charge.

The Grotto Spirituality Program is open to people of all faiths. We are careful to respect the individual’s spiritual values and religious beliefs.  The primary goal of The Grotto Spirituality Program is to assist individuals to form an expanded place for the Divine in their lives and to experience the healing dimensions of faith.

Spiritual Direction

Individual, confidential sessions for all who wish to deepen their spiritual life, explore their connection to God, and examine their relationships with others and the world in light of gospel values.

Cost:
Although there is a standard fee for spiritual direction at The Grotto, exceptions may be made based on financial considerations.

Directed Retreat Days
Individuals, families or groups, together with a spiritual director, may design a day(s) at The Grotto to include spiritual direction, faith sharing, contemplative prayer and quiet time.  Affordable lodging is available near The Grotto for those who wish to make overnight retreats.

Presented Retreats
