Peace Garden

Directed Retreat Days
Individuals, families or groups, together with a spiritual director, may design a day(s) at The Grotto to include spiritual direction, faith sharing, contemplative prayer and quiet time.  Affordable lodging is available near The Grotto for those who wish to make overnight retreats.

Presented Retreats
Retreats reflecting a particular liturgical season or topic will be presented periodically throughout the year. Retreat costs vary. Call Fr. Ignatius kissel, osm, at 503-254-7371 for further information.

Private/Directed Retreats for Clergy, Religious, and Seminarians
Private or directed retreats with lodging in private rooms at The Grotto’s Servite monastery are available for priests, brothers, sisters, or seminarians.  For details, availability, and pricing, please e-mail .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). or click here monastery-of-our-sorrowful-mother-retreat-center

We encourage retreatants to combine spiritual direction with the beauty of The Grotto grounds and the Chapel of Mary to create a time set apart for spiritual renewal.
