We adore You, O Christ, and we bless You,
because by Your holy Cross You have redeemed the world

XV. Jesus rises victorious over death.
Mt. 28:1-2
After the Sabbath, as the first day of the week was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other
Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of
the Lord descended from heaven, approached, rolled back the stone, and sat upon it.
Mt. 28:5-6
Then the angel said to the women in reply, "Do not be afraid! I know
that you are seeking Jesus the crucified. He is not here, for he has been raised
just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay."
Our Father, Who art in heaven; hallowed be Thy
name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our
daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to
the Holy Spirit; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without
end. Amen.
Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with You;
blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary,
Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Jesus Christ crucified, have mercy on us.
