because by Your holy Cross You have redeemed the world
V. Simon helps Jesus carry the cross.

As they led him away they took hold of a certain Simon, a Cyrenian, who was coming in from
the country; and after laying the cross on him, they made him carry it behind Jesus.

They pressed into service a passer-by, Simon, a Cyrenian, who was coming in from the
country, the father of Alexander and Rufas, to carry his cross.
Our Father, Who art in heaven; hallowed be Thy
name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our
daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to

Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with You;
blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary,
